DBAN & Linux Mint

1 post in this topic

Hey guys, I just recently ran DBAN on my old laptop to wipe the primary hard drive. It did it's stuff and when I loaded the system it said 'OS could not be found', great.

I then installed Linux Mint on it as I wanted to have a play around with it and it installed fine but I noticed that Linux Mint created a 4GB partition or something where the OS had installed so the OS took up like 3GB and I only had less than 1gb remaining.

The main hard disk drive/partition says 'unable to mount disk' when I click it and so the other 120gb is unavailable.

I'm currently re-running DBAN but does anyone have any idea what might have caused this or is this natural and I'm being a dumbass?
