Hey Everyone,

This thread is to force the important of being safe on the internet. Recently on the Vent server we have come across an unregistered sex offender. We have banned him from basically all of GamingHeavens to ensure the safety of others. To stop yourself from being targeted and preyed on from these people, please take the following tips into consideration:

- Always be cautious when talking to everyone, build up a relationship overtime and get to know the person well before adding them on social networking sites.

- The offender will lie to you. He or She will lie about their age, appearance, location, ect. They will send you fake pictures!

- The offender will find common ground to entice you. For example, sexuality, books, movies, TV shows. If someone is getting to close to you always remain cautious.

- If someone is harassing you, CONTACT an Admin, Moderator or myself. ALWAYS TELL SOMEONE

This is a serious issue and we take protection of our members to heart. This guy is no longer welcome and we will take Dan's word over his in this instance.

Okaayyy then, this is crazy...I used the vent server at/around this time and knew nothing of this, hopefully this 'sex offender' was not somebody I used to talk to...
